Camping Program

Each summer through the help of area Presbyterian Churches, businesses and individuals, we have been able to send between 120 - 150 children to Christian camps. There are hundreds of children in this area who could benefit from a week at summer camp. Although there are many social services that send children to camp,  and we applaud there efforts, we need to be more diligent in sending these children to Christian camps. This may be the only opportunity they ever have to hear the gospel message.

All of the funding generously comes from individual donors and many area Churches. In addition, ArcelorMittal Dofasco employees have supported the camping program for the past twelve years

Community Outreach Programs

As well as our weekly and monthly programs we offer an Annual Community Christmas dinner and Hamper program, basketball tournaments and clothing, furniture and food support throughout the year.

Christmas Hamper & Toy Program

The Christmas Hamper program began many years ago and we were able to send out 20 hampers to families. Now through additional resources a host of volunteers deliver well over 120 hampers each year. Each Christmas we are able to deliver gifts to needy children in the community.

Christmas in the Community

One of the most joyful times of the year is Christmas and certainly hosting a Christmas Turkey Dinner for over 340 people is a joy. People receive their invitation in the mail and we always have a full house. Santa visits and brings a toy for all of the children
